Mama’s Cozy Kitchen Chili

Brown the ground beef and turkey (I add freshly chopped onion or dried onion for boosted flavor). Open all the cans of beans and rinse them in a colander. Place the rinsed beans into the crockpot and then add the browned meat. Open the chili mix and stir. Pour the tomato sauce in and stir. If you like thick chili, then ignore the next step. If you like not-so-thick chili, you can use one of the empty tomato sauce cans and fill it with water, and mix that in.
Once everything is added into the crockpot and stirred thoroughly, place the lid on and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours and stir occasionally.
