Place the chicken breast in the crockpot and sprinkle the salad dressing envelope over it
Do Not Add Anything Else!
Cook in the crockpot on low for -3 hours for thawed chicken. -5 hours for frozen chicken.
When the chicken is cooked, remove it from the crockpot and place it on a plate to let cool before shredding. Once cooled, shred it, then place it back into the crockpot.
Add the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and softened cream cheese.
With a spoon, stir and break up the cream cheese so it will blend better as it warms.
Increase the heat of the crockpot to high. Continue cooking for an additional 45 minutes, or until the cream cheese is blended.
Serve over noodles or white rice.
