Ingredients: 1/2 cup butter or margarine; 1/2 cup vegetable shortening; 1 1/2 cup sugar; 2 eggs; 2 3/4 cup flour; 2 tsp cream of tartar; 1 tsp baking soda; 1/4 tsp salt; 2 tbsp sugar; 2 tsp cinnamon

Ingredients

¹⁄₂ cup butter or margarine
¹⁄₂ cup vegetable shortening
1 ¹⁄₂ cup sugar
2 eggs
2 ³⁄₄ cup flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
¹⁄₄ tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Cream butter, shortening, sugar, and eggs.

Slowly add in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt

In a small bowl, combine sugar and the cinnamon

Shape into rounded balls and roll in the cinnamon sugar

Bake at 400F for 8-10 minutes.

Makes around 6 dozen cookies, depending on how big you roll the dough balls
